Signet reads your books' barcodes, fetches title, author, cover and page count, then keeps track of every read — the page you're on, what you thought of it, the line that stopped you.

The “currently reading” widget comes in small, medium and lock-screen sizes: cover, page, percentage.
Say « Où j'en suis dans Signet » and Siri tells you the page and the percentage; « Scanner un livre avec Signet » opens the camera straight away (the phrases are French, like the app).
An optional daily reminder at the time you choose, so the ribbon doesn't gather dust.

Years of reading on Goodreads or StoryGraph? Export them as CSV, import them into Signet: titles, authors, ratings, dates and statuses come along. Missing covers are filled in afterwards, at a gentle pace.

For now the library lives on the phone only: no iCloud sync. Export from time to time.

This site was set in Newsreader and Karla, on warm paper, with a single burgundy ribbon. Signet is a LaCobble app for iPhone (iOS 17 or later): no account, no ads, no tracking. Records and covers come from Open Library, which every record links back to.
